Powered by PROMPT (The Panhandle Regional Organization to Maximize Public Transportation), Panhandle Rides brings together two regional transportation agencies to increase mobility options within the top 26 counties and 63 cities in the Texas Panhandle.

Trips can be booked up to 30 days in advance.
Types of Rides
FIXED ROUTE
The bus runs within Amarillo on a published schedule and route. Passengers can board at a stop. No reservations are required.
DIAL-A-RIDE
Curb-to-curb shared ride service to and from major stop points in the Region. Reservations required.
COVID TESTING OR VACCINATION CLINIC
Rides within Amarillo to and from COVID testing or vaccination clinics. Reservations required.
ADA MOBILITY ASSISTANCE
Rides for those who cannot access a fixed route ride due to a disability. Reservations required.

Panhandle Rides provides public transportation bus service to all residents in the top 26 Texas panhandle counties. Transportation includes fixed routes, demand service, and rides for ADA riders needing additional mobility assistance.
